North Hendren Co-op Dairy, located in the heart of Wisconsin dairy country, has made quality cheeses since 1923. Today, this farmer-owned plant focuses on producing premium blue-veined cheeses. North Hendren's Black River® Blue took first place in its class at the 2005 U.S. Championship Cheese contest, while its Black River® Gorgonzola won first place at the 2007 U.S. Championship Cheese contest.
