Fuel Up to Play 60 - Deadlines and Announcements

• Eleven schools in Wisconsin were awarded funds during the first grant application deadline to support the Fuel Up to Play program. Wisconsin Dairy Council provided a total of $7,500 to schools in Alma, Belleville, Ashwaubenon, Grafton, Little Chute, Neenah, Columbus, De Pere, West De Pere, Fond du Lac and Shullsburg. Each of these schools has a school team and has a plan to sustain Fuel Up to Play activities for the school year. 
• Additional funds are available! Be sure to complete the online funds application at www.FuelUptoPlay60.com by the February 15th deadline.
• Marshall Middle School in Janesville won the first Student Challenge! Students at Marshall posted 2 excellent videos of their Kick Off event and won 12 pairs of tickets to the December 5th Packer Game at Lambeau. Check out the video.
• Indian Mound Middle School in McFarland, Columbus Middle School and Milton Middle School were grand prize winners of the Fuel up to Play Healthy Meal Challenge. These winning schools have been awarded a trip to the Hutson Center in Green Bay for students at their school.
