WMMB Director Nomination Period Extended in District 4
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection has extended the WMMB director nomination period for District 4 (Barron and Polk counties) to March 14, 2014. 12th Annual Young Dairy Producer Educational Scholarship
The Southwestern Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association announces their 12th Annual Young Dairy Producer Educational $2,000 Scholarship to encourage young dairy producers to continue in the dairy industry and help maintain the supply of milk to area cheese plants. WMMB Director Elections Underway
The Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) announced the nine districts involved in the 2014 Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) director elections. Visit the WMMB Elections website for more information and to download a nomination form. Nomination forms must be completed and submitted to DATCP by February 21.
WMMB Scores at Region IV NAMA
Region IV National Agri-Marketing Association (NAMA) announced its annual winners on January 23. The Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board (WMMB) received first prizes in the categories of print advertising, social media, and merit awards for outdoor advertising and the Great. Pair. Share. online magazine. WMMB also received "Best of Show" recognition for its print advertising (advertising category) and its social media program (public relations category).
All Things Mac and Cheese
In celebration of National Cheese Lover's Day on January 20, the Wisconsin Milk Marketing Board launched a new website dedicated to All Things Mac and Cheese. The site currently includes more than 100 recipes that range from simple stovetop variations to creative gourmet options. We're also making a splash in social media through www.Facebook.com/AllThingsMacAndCheese, receiving over 30,400 likes to date. Doesn't Mac and Cheese sound good for dinner tonight?

The search is on in Wisconsin for the next Alice in Dairyland. The 67th Alice will serve as one of our state's primary agricultural ambassadors, speaking with media, schools, and community and industry groups.
